What a fun themed shower! Complete with henna artists, tabbouleh, bangles, beautiful tapestry,

and a gorgeous (and VERY delicious!) cake by Kimberly Merrick.

Even the groom stopped in to brave the shrieks and shrills of a room full of ladies (and lace!).

This is one of the funnest families---ever!

Grant Park is a lovely place for portraits any time of the year, but especially Christmas.

These sistas were super awesome.  I think they 'might' have had a good time.

I mean, who really LOVES having the paparazzi in their face?!?! Hehe!

50 years. Heritage in the making.

I spent the morning photographing this family, who was celebrating a major milestone: 

50 years of marriage.

I asked what the key to longevity, and they both cutely just looked at each other and chuckled. 

I guess we'll all have to reach that marker to find the answer ourselves!

But they have given the secret, and quite a legacy, to their children, married 20 & 10 years themselves. 

Well done, Mr. and Mrs. Baughan.  And, congrats!
