What to expect at your portrait session!
I will arrive at the location of your choice 30 minutes prior to your session, to review the site to maximize our use of the scenery and lighting available. Upon arrival, we'll chat, get to know each other a bit, and take several practice shots, to get everyone comfortable around the camera. It's all about YOU! So have fun, smile, relax, and let me do all the work. Some will be naturally posed shots, some semi-posed; some shots will happen without you even knowing. I'm full of fun ideas, but I am also up for anything, so be thinking about what types of poses and portraits you might be looking for. After an hour or so, we will have taken lots of photographs, laughed a ton, and you'll be ready to treat yourself to an ice cream, and I'll be anxious to prepare your awesome gallery of photos for your review!What I want from you!
Come with an open mind. Be sure that everyone in your party is well-coordinated*, happy, and pumped up for the session! Bring a wardrobe change, props, or any special 'lovies' you may want to add. Be on-time for your session so we don't lose any valuable sunlight. Have patience with each other---especially the kiddos; being at an exciting location can sometimes be distracting, but it also makes for great photo-ops! We're gonna have a blast!
*Try to keep patterned clothing to a minimum.
