Milestones.....

i tend to get a bit apprehensive when it comes to big changes.  maybe it's the unsuredness; maybe it's the wide-open possibilities. whatever the reason, the big change that came in my little big-girl and her 1st day of school almost didn't phase me.  

i believe in her; i believe in God in her. and i believe this is just one of the many amazing milestones she's going to have throughout her life.

Sneak Peek: Happy Graduation!

I met up with McCartney and his mom downtown Melbourne to do a few shots to celebrate his high school graduation.  The rain held off, and we didn't get a ticket for being on the railroad tracks!  Successful shoot! :-)

'Pamper&Portrait Party': a Journey project

A while back, my bible study group from Covenant Presbyterian Church discussed possible ways in which to reach out to a local non-profit organization in Brevard county.  We came up with the idea of professionally styling hair/makeup (by Jessica Fadden, and a special thanks to Wendy, owner of Bangz Salon, for her help, along with Kimberly!) and taking portraits of young women who are currently living in a home that provides long-term housing for pregnant and/or single moms who are homeless or in transition.

I had the privilege to go alongside my friends yesterday for an enjoyable afternoon of hairspray and rouge, cake and lemonade, ham sandwiches and lots of  'film' (digital, of course!) with some sweet ladies.

Our number 1 goal was to make YOU feel lovely, and loved.  We genuinely hope each of you felt this!

CCS 2012 Homecoming

My nephew invited my to do a mini-shoot before his high school homecoming with a bunch of friends.
